Lesson timing policy and fees

Whilst it is common practice for us to teach full 30 minute or 60 minute classes, our lesson timing policy is based on larger groups and ensembles where a 5 minute change over period may be required between classes.

Group Lesson Policy (see group lesson fees below)

A group is considered to be four or more students scheduled to attend a class at the same time with one or two teachers.

If a student is paying the group lesson rate and all members of the group are not in attendance then the student will still only pay the group rate.

Group lessons are 55 minutes for three or more students attending.

If only two students are in attendance then the teacher is only obliged to teach the students for 40 minutes although they may continue for a longer period at their own discretion.

If only one student is in attendance then the teacher is only obliged to teach the student for 25 minutes although they may continue for a longer period at their own discretion.

Private Ensemble Lesson Policy (see ensemble lesson fees below)

An ensemble lesson is one student scheduled for 25 minutes, two students scheduled for 40 minutes, or a maximum of 3 students scheduled to attend a 55 minute class at one time with one teacher.

Private Lesson Policy (see private lesson fees below)

A private lesson is one student scheduled for a class with one teacher for either 20 minutes, 40 minutes or 60 minutes.
